We took a trip up North to visit my husband’s relatives and I got to see my sister, who flew in from Italy. It’s so nice to see Luisa, I named my firstborn after her.

My in-laws put her to work moving logs around…in a museum.

It’s so special to have a sister. There’s so much we share, and sometimes we don’t need to talk to know what we’re going to say.

I don’t remember fighting a lot with my sister. Perhaps it’s because I’m almost five years older or because I left when she was still a teen-ager and we’ve had a long distance sisterly relationship. We talk everyday with Skype. OK, sometimes I slack and use the regular phone, if we can’t hear each other, but it’s still a discounted rate.

The point is, she’s a big part of my life, even if we’re apart.
